The problem
Two data centres, manual releases every six weeks, and an operations team paged nightly by alerts nobody trusted.
What we did
Terraform-defined landing zones, a staged strangler migration onto EKS, GitOps delivery with Argo CD, and an SLO-driven alerting rebuild.
The result
Deployments went from six-weekly to several a day, infrastructure spend fell 43%, and out-of-hours pages dropped by an order of magnitude.
